Jeff Jamrog – Midland University
New Midland University Head Football Coach, Jeff Jamrog, brings more than two decades of collegiate coaching experience, and several more years as a student/player to Midland
Jeff graduated Elkhorn Mount Michael, where he was All State in both football football and basketball and Class B Player of the Year in 1982. Jeff was a walk-on for the Huskers but later earned a scholarship spot. Coach Jamrog went on to earn his Bachelors in Business and a Masters in Business Administration, both in the late 80’s from UNL.
Jeff became a two year graduate assistant in 1988 for the Huskers. He then went on to coach at South Dakota, 1990-1993; UNO, 1994-1996; and New Mexico State, 1997-1999 in Defensive coach or coordinator roles. Coach Jamrog served as defensive coordinator and LB coach at Western Illinois in 2004, was Head Coach at Minnesota State 2004-2007. In 2008 he returned to Nebraska where he was Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations. Coach Jamrog has consistently enjoyed an outstanding record as a recruiter and communicator
Jeff and his wife Connie have three children, Elizabeth 25, Brett 22 and Jared 20.
