Rotary, Friday June 12th
Rotarians,
This week Janell Tessari is hosting Shawn ShannhanCallahan from the United Way, & Claire Partridge, Aquatics Director at Fremont Family YMCA. Rotary has helped with assistance from RI and District grants programs for the Y and the United Way. This is a great opportunity to see what some of our efforts for the community have produced.
I think I mentioned this before, Rachael and Shelly are working with a FHS student and a young lady from Brazil for us to sponsor both exchange students this year.
I have also attached below a copy of some of our donation to date this year. This does not include our $2500 donation to the YMCA Aquatic center, $1000 to Shelter Box for the earthquake in Nepal and yet to be paid money for the KSt Park (up to $4,000), $2,000 teacher award and youth scholarship award and $1500 to Polio Plus. So you see what our hard work go to for the community.
