Fremont Rotary Club Meeting

Hello Rotarians!
Hopefully this Friday the 13th won’t keep you away from our meeting featuring Dave Goedeken, Fremont’s new Director of Public Works. Dave is hosted by Todd Hansen. You can go to our web site http://www.rotaryfremont.org and get more info on Dave and other Rotary news and information.
I am almost to the point of actually pleading for volunteers to take on this year Fly-in Breakfast. This does take some work in putting all the information together, publicizing the event, coordinating the logistics with our support organizations, ticket sales, etc. Typically we hold this event the last Sunday of August (depending on NU football) along with our annual football ticket raffle.
Between those two events we realize roughly $6000 that helps fund our youth fund and general fund. It is a very important project for our club! Please consider helping out. Most of the planning part has already been accomplished from prior years. There are several of us who have done this in the past and are willing to share some of the help in putting this on.
Other than that, I have no new announce right now, just a strong reminder to give to the Foundation if you haven’t already done so.
I did see Joan Ronan, after the meeting last week and sadly informed her she missed out on the weekly drawing.
