Dear Rotarians
Ann Stephens will be hosting the Director of Keene Memorial Library this week, Tina Walker. Tina started her career as a correctional officer with plans to join law enforcement but an injury forced her change her plans. Mrs Walker holds Master’s Degrees in both business administration and information science and learning technologies. Her passion to help others learn has led her the past ten years to employment at other libraries. Our library, for those of you who do not use it, is a very good one. And the modern library is a far cry from those of your youth, but then I’ll let her tell you all about that.
We will be needing someone to head up the committee who will be selecting Fremont’s Outstanding Teacher in the very near future. Any volunteers? We had a great crowd at our Rotary Ag Day—nearly a full house—and I think our guests were appreciative and pleased Hope you didn’t miss it. But we’ll see you Friday!
