Dear Rotarians,
Friday is a special day for Fremont Rotarians as we salute the folks who make the wheels of our economy roll. Surely those of you who would say “what do I care about some guy speaking about agriculture?” have not thought that question through very carefully. Others would say, “sorry, but this is my busy season”. And the very people we are trying to recognize are the people who are making that “busy season possible”. So you can’t really convince me that you are too busy to take an hour to come and thank some of those area Agribusiness people.
Our speaker for this event will be the Nebraska Department of Agriculture Director, Greg Ibach Greg has served under Governors Johanns, Heineman, and now Ricketts. He has taken Nebraska’s cause all over the globe, as well as the USA. Our state has seen steady growth in the sale and exportation of our farm production during his tenure. He is also known as a great speaker as well.
If you are bringing a guest or guests to the meeting we would like to know so that we can give an approximation to the Golf Club. Please let me know by email of those intentions. And remember your participation in Rotary events is necessary for us to be a relevant force in this community, but it is also an obligation as a Rotarian.
