Dear Rotarians,
Our District Governor, Gary Bren, will be joining our club this Friday for his annual meeting. Gary is an active, sixteen year member of Rotary and a very successful entrepreneur in the tech world, where he is majority owner of Turner Technology, an IT firm in Omaha. He has been married to Gretchen for 27 years. Gretchen is also an active Rotarian, who as I recall has been on several Polio Plus trips (maybe 10). We need to welcome this great Rotarian with a nice crowd Friday.
Last week we heard from another very good presenter, Jerry Tobias, who took us through his 38 year many-faceted career as a pilot, along with lots of life lessons. Thanks, Brian, for bringing Jerry. (an Honorary Israeli Rotarian)
Two of our Club members, Gary Bolton, and Brian Newton each have a pair of Purdue-NU football tickets they would like to sell. $58 bucks each ticket. Brian’s are located in Section 1, row 15, and Gary’s are located in Section 16, row 35, directly behind the goalposts in south stadium. Please contact them directly if you are interested. Going to be a nice day, 2:30 PM. game time.
