Dear Rotarians,
Every once in a while a chance comes along with an offer too good to turn down. Such will be your choice this coming Friday noon with the terrific presentation that Rotarian Dr. Thom Christensen has lined up for us. His speaker, Dr. Sanjay Singh; his topic, “Brain and Mind—A New Era.” My sense is that Dr. Singh, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology, Creighton University School of Medicine is much more than that; and the reality is that he is also an author, lecturer and expert on the brain and Neurology in general. In reading about Dr. Singh’s presentation let me paraphrase Thom……”the brain is a marvelous piece of hardware and software and we can guarantee it will be altered by the end of Dr. Singh’s lecture.”
