Joe Sajevic

Fremont Public Schools Foundation

Joe was born in Kearney, NE.  He is a graduate of Kearney High School and completed his college undergraduate work at Kearney State College.  He obtained his Master of Arts in Secondary Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, in addition to most of the hours needed for his Education Specialists Degree.

Joe taught at Bertrand High School, Archbishop Bergan, and Hastings Senior High Schools.  He was Assistant Principle at Hastings High for two years.  Joe was then principle at Fremont High School for 11 years before retirement.  He supervised student teachers fro the past four years at UNO.  He was recently selected to be the Executive Director of the Fremont Public Schools Foundation, beginning the first of this year.

Joe has been very active in community affairs, especially with the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, and has served in a variety of positions relating to education liaising with FPS.  Joe is, of course, a member of our Rotary club, and has attained Paul Harris status.

Joe and his wife Nancy, have been married for over 42 years.  They have 3 married daughters and 8 grandchildren.  Joe enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and all level of athletics.
