Dear Rotarians,
Our speaker this week is our own Rotarian, Brian Newton. As you know, Brian is the General Manager of the Fremont Department of Utilities, and joined our club this past summer. On his way to Fremont, he has spent more than 30 years managing public power and cooperative utilities in Ohio, Alaska, Indiana and Nebraska. This should be an interesting program, so please mark your calendar and plan to attend this Friday.
The past presidents committee met prior to Thanksgiving, and selected three new Rotary board members for a three-year term, and also a vice president for the 2016-17 Rotary year (July 2016 – June 2017). The slate of officers for next Rotary year will be brought before the club at our meeting this Friday for your approval. They are:
