Dear Rotarians,
The host for this week is Vince O’Connor and his guest speaker is Shannon Mullen. Shannon is the Marketing Director for the Dodge County Convention and Visitors Bureau. I encourage you to attend this Friday as this should be an interesting program. I want to remind you that we will not have Rotary on November 27th due to Thanksgiving.
Sherry Leriger mentioned at our Rotary meeting a couple of weeks ago that she and her committee are planning a Rotary spring fundraiser event on February 12th. It will be very much like the event last spring which featured “dueling pianos.” It will be at the Fremont Golf Club, so please mark your calendars for this event. Sherry could use a few more Rotarians on her committee, so please consider contacting her to help out.
We would like to put some pictures on our website which feature some of the things our Rotary club does. If any of you have taken any pictures at any of our events, such as the fly-in breakfast, the fundraiser held last spring, ringing bells for the Salvation Army, or delivering books to children in conjunction with the literacy project, please get them to Sherry. We want to get the message out to the community what our club does for the community.
Last week’s winner of the drawing would have been Vince O’Connor; however, he was not in attendance. Sorry Vince.
Just a reminder to Rotary board members and attendees that we meet this Friday at 11:00 a.m., so please try to attend. Your agenda and treasurer’s report should get to you via email by Thursday.
