Rotary – November 13, 2015 – Hal Daub – University of Nebraska Board of Regents

Today’s Host Gary Bolton:

Hal Daud has spent the better part of four decades in public service to Omaha, the state of Nebraska, and the United States; including 2 terms as Mayor of Omaha, and four terms in the United State House of Representatives.  He was a Board Member for the Omaha Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority (MECA).

In November 2012, he was elected to the University of Nebraska Board of Regents, where he currently serves.

Mr. Daub has way to many awards to list, but suffice it to say it’s an impressive list.  Has recently authored “There’s No Better Place-There’s No Better Deal” and coauthored “Kicking Debt Down The Road Irresponsible to Future Generations,” both in the Omaha World  Herald.

Hal earned his Bachelor of Science from Washington University in St. Louis and his Juris Doctorate from UNL College of Law.  He is a partner with Husch Blackwell LLP and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eight Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
