Dear Rotarians,
I will be the host for this week’s Rotary meeting, and the guest speaker will be Hal Daub. As you probably know, Hal is currently on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents, and has been since 2012. He also served two terms as Mayor of Omaha, and four terms in the US House of Representatives. This should be a good program, so mark your calendar and plan to attend.
Our bi-monthly drawing for a $10 gas card to HyVee was last week, and the winner was Sid Dillon, Jr. To be eligible for the drawing, you had to have been fined at Rotary sometime in the last two months. Congratulations Sid.
Just a reminder to Rotary board members, due to Thanksgiving, our monthly board meeting this month will be on November 21 at 11:00 a.m.
Also, as a reminder to all members, there will not be a Rotary meeting on November 28th.
