Please note – the Golf Club will be hosting a funeral lunch on Friday so Rotary will be meeting in the Club’s regular dining area. Also please note that parking will be limited due to the lunch.
Carter Burnside will be hosting Dr. John Brady and Beth Vrana with Fremont’s Good Neighbor Fremont Clinic. Giorgi Orkodashvili, an exchange student from the Republic of Georgia, will be presenting for International Education Week.

I have been a Rotary Member for 15 years and chair the Outstanding Teacher & Student Scholarship committee.
My wife Pam, works at Taylor & Martin Inc. We have a grown son Nick and we’re expecting our 1st grandchild in December!
After Graduating from Midland ” College ” I started my career in insurance & financial planning and have celebrated my 30 year anniversary in my field with Foy Financial Solutions representing companies of Northwestern Mutual, MetLife and Mass Mutual.
My hobbies are golf, going to Husker games and the occasional duck blind . We are looking forward to being grandparents the most!
Mike Thomas
I am married to Jackie who is a mathematics adjunct professor at Metro Community College. We have three sons, one son living locally with his daughter, two single sons living in California.
I served as a Pastor in the ELCA for 40 years; retiring at the end of 2016 from Salem Lutheran where I served for 16 years.
Over my time in Fremont, I have served as Past President of the Habitat for Humanity Board, Past President of the Fremont Midland Entertainment Series, Executive Committee of the Fremont Area Ministerial Association, Rotary Board of Directors and currently Chaplain and Honor Guard Member of the Ralston Fire Department.
My hobbies include golfing, scuba diving, traveling abroad and spending time with family. I have been a member of Rotary since 2001.
