Dear Rotarians,
Ken Beebe will be hosting our program this Friday and he is bringing to us Chris Armstrong and Linda Emanuel from the North Bend area who will discuss the Nebraska LEAD Program. Gone are the days of the 2 bottom plow and also gone are the marketing policies, economics, etc of that era. The Nebraska LEAD Program develops leaders who advocate for the heart of Nebraska’s economy –agriculture in this highly charged ag economy of today. My guess is that it takes knowledgeable, motivated, strong leaders to deal with the likes of China, India and other major consumers of Nebraska farm products on the world scene. Nebraska LEAD seeks to develop folks for those tasks, locally, nationally, and across the world.
Remember, also, come to Rotary Friday prepared to give a check to Don Kahnk for this coming years dues. You will save Don and Rotary a great deal of work by doing so. See you tomorrow at Rotary.
