Dear Rotarians,
Dr. Rod Koerber, Pathologist at Fremont Health will be hosting Dr. Erin Linde, Forensic Pathologist at Physicians Laboratory Services, Inc tomorrow at our Friday meeting. I looked up the meaning of forensic medicine and it is the application of medical knowledge to questions of civil and criminal law, especially as it relates to court proceedings. Sounds interesting to me.
Our presenter, Dr Linde, received her bachelors degree in microbiology from UC Davis and then her medical education from Creighton. She then completed a combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency at UNMC where she was chief resident. She followed that with a fellowship in forensic pathology in Richmond, VA.
Dr. Linde currently practices at Physicians Lab Services and serves as an adjunct professor at both Creighton and UNMC. Kind of sounds like TV stuff to me without Time Warner. Hope to see you Friday.
