Dear Rotarians,
Former Husker and NFL football player Calvin Jones will be our speaker this Friday. We older Husker fans will remember Calvin from the early nineties; three years with the Huskers and three years in the pros with the Raiders and Packers. Calvin’s life story is unique in its own way and is sure to inspire and motivate us.
Rotarian Mark Shepard (along with Brad Dahl) has asked for several minutes to speak, before Calvin, about the “School Budget /Tax request”, and in the spirit of community we will grant this time. Because we do not want to ask Mr. Jones, in all fairness, to shorten his presentation we will ring the bell about 5 minutes early. We will likely shorten other parts of the Rotary agenda as well. So please plan accordingly.
We’ve had some really good programs lately and this promises to be one you won’t want to miss. Hope to see you Friday!
