Rotary – May 29, 2015 – Todd Niehaus – FPS teacher and FHS Boys Golf Coach

FHS BOYS GOLF TEAM

Todd Niehaus teaches sixth grade math at Johnson Crossing and serves as the Boys Golf Coach and Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for Fremont High.  Prior to moving to Fremont, Todd was an elementary teacher and boys basketball coach in the Edgewood-Colesburg School District northeast Iowa.  Todd earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he was also a member of the Men’s Golf team.  He holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (although he continues to be an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan!)

Todd has enjoyed working with high school golfers fro the past 13 years.  During that time, he has been fortunate to have two District Championship teams and six teams that finished as District Runners-Up.  In addition, he has been able to work with 10 State qualifying teams and has coached ten State medal winners, two State Champions, and two State Team Runners-Up.

Todd and his wife, Rhonda, have three children, Connor (22), Kendall (19), and Cade (15).
