Your club’s board of directors authorized a $1,000 donation to Shelterbox, an international charity and Rotary International partner. This will provide a shelter and other necessities for a family in Nepal during this crisis. i asked the board to approve this because several years ago I saw one of these kits at the Rotary district meeting and was impressed with the nature of the system and thought at the time this was a very good way for our club to make a significant and specific contribution to an international emergency.
